The Jane Fund
If you have ever visited VOH, chances are, you've met Mama Jane. Jane has epilepsy and had a seizure causing her to fall into an open fire while cooking. She suffered severe burns all over her body and an infection which led to the amputation of her leg. She is a widow and her son has also passed away. She can't work and has no family to care for her. As you can imagine, day to day tasks in rural Kenya is no easy task.

Despite all of this, Jane greats every visitor she has with enthusiasm and a prayer of thanks. She is the embodiment of joy and faith and knows her riches are stored in Heaven.

The Jane Fund was created to help Jane and others like her within the greater VOH community. It acts as a hardship fund to provide relief to those in immediate need with things like food, clothing, and medical care.
